Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Shellway collects, why, and how you can control it. Shellway is operated by Sandeep Kumar Saini (sole proprietor), India, who is the data fiduciary for your data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and profile picture from Google sign-in.
- Device data: the name, operating system and connection status of computers you pair.
- Usage data: an action log with the time, tool name and success or failure of each request, and counts used for plan limits.
- Billing data: your plan, invoices and payment status. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
What we do not keep
The content of requests and results passing between your AI assistant and your computer, such as file contents and command output, is held only in memory while it is delivered and is not stored.
Why we use it
To provide and secure the Service, enforce plan limits, process payments, send service emails and meet legal obligations such as tax records. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run Shellway: Google (sign-in), Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare (hosting and network), and Razorpay (payments). They process data only to provide their services to us.
How long we keep it
- Action logs: 90 days.
- Account and device data: until you close your account.
- Invoices: as long as Indian tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise these rights, by emailing support@getshellway.com. Closing your account deletes your account, device and log data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Security
Connections are encrypted, access tokens expire and can be revoked, and we limit who can access production systems.
